Fellow Friday: Alumni Spotlight ft. Dr. Bryan Buckley, Leaders of Color Washington DC

Dr. Bryan O. Buckley is a health equity-focused and systems-oriented health leader, educator, and researcher in system redesign, performance improvement, and change management. He has 10+ years of success applying various performance improvement, leadership, strategy, and change management methodologies across the public health and healthcare sector. Currently, he is a Fellow with Medstar Health & Institute for Quality and Safety, where he leads and supports healthcare delivery research, education, and consulting related to community health, patient safety, and quality. As an Assistant Professor at the Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Buckley teaches in the Georgetown Executive masters program in clinical quality, safety and leadership. In addition, he is on the faculty team teaching clinical transformation and community partnerships to medical students. Dr. Buckley holds a Doctor of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a Master of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. He is a Board Member of the American Heart Association Greater Washington, DC Region, Executive Board Member of the American Public Health Association, and Founding Executive Board Member of the DrPH Coalition.
